8.00 (good) | Nicely done with a rather perculiar concept. Yuki Kajura's music in this makes the show really enjoyable.

10.00 (excellent) | This anime proves that some arranged marriages can form deep love and affection after all. Brilliant. Have both anime and manga

10.00 (excellent) | I have been trying hard to find a brilliant comedy anime for a while and this exceeds all my expectations. Some funny parts are even more funnier in "slow-mo" mode on a DVD player.

9.75 (excellent) | A must see anime classic that is worth it's weight in gold and definitely not for the faint hearted.

5.00 (moderate) | I have been trying to find a lot more comedy animes. So far, the only one that's worked really well for me was "Azumanga Daioh." I have been seeing the previews for this series a lot and I am just curious how it come out when I watch it (I've got both seasons of the show). In the meantime...watch this space.

7.00 (above average) | I was fortunate enough to get the manga to this series. The anime visuals and storyline were great, but the robot battles looked a bit cheesy here and there. I'll see if the manga is any better.

7.50 (good) | Very well done series with amazing effects, visuals, action and character designs. I felt the storyline and the dialogue between the characters could have been a little bit better though.

8.00 (good) | Amazing, intriguing and rather unique designs in characters, backgrounds and machinery. Good anime to see if you are also interested in aviation, with a great storyline, visuals and an exotic, musical score to boot. Alex Row is one of the coolest male characters ever created for an anime.

10.00 (excellent) | One of the first comedy animes which really caught on to me even before I started seeing it on DVD. Now owning the entire TV series, the Christmas and Spring Break Specials and the OVA, I would love to re-visit this show one more time one day. I would love to see the spectacular kicks, punches and hammerblows Naru unleashes on Keitaro next time in slow-mo! (Doing that would make it even more funny!)

10.00 (excellent) | Just finished seeing the entire series. This is the only other anime (besides "Neon Genesis Evangelion") that I believe exceeds my expectations in all it's attributes (animation, artwork, music, storyline, plot, etc) and always tends to blow you away even more every single time you watch it. Definitely one of my all-time favourites. UMI ROCKS!!!

6.00 (average) | An alright version of Ken Akamatsu's current work - lot of stuff left out though. Manga version is way better.

10.00 (excellent) | In a word - brilliant. A downright classic and anime icon since Day 1! Just seen the latest Eva movie (i.e. "Evangelion 1.0: You Are (Not) Alone." (hmm...reminds me of the Michael Jackson (RIP) song of the same name)) as well as the new "Platinum" version of the original TV series. Loving every millisecond of it!

6.75 (above average) | Not a bad little romantic comedy - the series could have been a bit longer though (24-26 episodes rather than 13). Kikuko Inoue's portrayl of Mizuho is nicely done.

5.00 (moderate) | Been wanting to see this show for quite a while now. I've now got the complete DVD boxset - let's see if the show lives up to all the hype that's surrounding it.

8.00 (good) | I own both the movie and the TV series. The movie version was only alright for me (the visuals and animation were good but the plot and storyline needs a lot of work (and I do mean A LOT)), but the TV series was very well done. It appears the latter is much more in line with the manga and character development is in a lot more detail. |
